Rafael Flores is an arts professional and collector based in New York City. He currently works as the Strategic Programs Manager for Meta Open Arts, where he develops global partnerships that drive innovation at the intersection of art, design and technology. Previously, Rafael served as the Director of Corporate Relations at the Brooklyn Museum and led partnerships at institutions such as Park Avenue Armory and the Guggenheim Museum. 

Rafael is passionate about supporting artists from the Asian & Pacific Islander (API) diaspora, and together with his partner Matt, collects work from emerging API artists with a focus on painting. As a proud resident of Brooklyn, Rafael is a member of the Brooklyn Museum’s Young Leadership Council as well as the International Studio and Curatorial Program’s Young Patrons group.
