2024 Curatorial Committee

Future Fair introduces its inaugural Curatorial Committee for 2024, consisting of Anne-Laure Lemaitre, Osman Can Yerebakan, and Constanza Valenzuela.

Future Fair is proud to introduce its inaugural Curatorial Committee for 2024. The 2024 committee members include Anne-Laure Lemaitre, Independent Curator, Creative Strategist, and Producer; Osman Can Yerebakan, Freelance Art and Culture Writer; and Constanza Valenzuela, the Curatorial and Exhibitions Assistant at the High Line and Co-Founder of the curatorial platform ACOMPI.

The Curatorial Committee was launched with the fair’s fourth edition in order to further Future Fair’s commitment to maintaining high standards in the selection process, while also broadening the scope of the creative vision of the fair. With their varying backgrounds, each curator lends new perspectives and insights into identifying contemporary trends and interests of today’s artists.

Anne-Laure Lemaitre, a long-time collaborator of Future Fair, expresses her enthusiasm for this year's edition, stating, "I have been a supporter of Future Fair since day one. I love that they offer a space for galleries from very different contexts and locations to come together and present talents you wouldn't always otherwise see in New York. I'm excited to work on this year's edition of Future Fair and help select proposals which will offer diverse new voices the ability to be seen in this context. I think Future Fair at its best showcases bold, fascinating emerging practices that simply haven't had a chance to yet be seen in New York."

Osman Can Yerebakan shares his enthusiasm, "It is thrilling to jury for a future-facing fair that is invested in offering artists and galleries a launching pad. The possibility of playing the tiniest role in providing visibility and direction to artists is quite exciting."

Constanza Valenzuela adds, "I am very excited to work with Future Fairs and be part of a larger dialogue around promoting equity and transparency in the Art Market."
