Future Fair 2024 Tastemaker Collections: Mario Joyce
Mario Joyce is a Los Angeles-based painter and collage artist using genealogical research and vintage materials to document his experiences as a Black and Queer man in rural America. He is an alum of Future Fair 2021, and recently had a solo exhibition at UTA Artist Space, Los Angeles titled “Amaryllis’ Garden”.
“I find myself pulled to work that investigates the resiliency of the human spirit inspired by memory, environment, legacy or mysteries of the natural world.”
