Nadine Faraj explores portraiture, the sensual nude and intimacy through the use of watercolor. Her fluid wet-on-wet technique abstracts erotic scenes to reflect an essence of freedom that celebrates the mutability of gender, sexuality and identity. 

Faraj lives and works in New York and Montreal. She received an MFA from New York’s School of Visual Arts in 2015 and a BFA from Montreal's Concordia University in 2002. The artist has exhibited widely in shows internationally including New York, Montreal, Toronto, London, Athens and Dubai. Her work has been included in numerous press articles including features in Observer, Hyperallergic, Wallpaper Magazine, A Women’s Thing Magazine, Huffington Post, Arte Fuse and Vulture.

JORDY KERWICK
Jordy Kerwick has a uniquely raw and confident approach, combining a range of various media, thick brushstrokes and collage. to create detailed and textured surfaces. The incorporation of text and cleverly titled books instills his still lives with an interesting cultural context and depth.

Kerwick is an Australian self-taught artist currently based in Albi, France. Having started painting in 2016, The artist is rapidly gaining recognition on the international art stage with recent exhibitions including a dual show Fatal Purity at Masahiro Maki Gallery in both Paris and Tokyo; Sweep the leg, Johnny at Pt. 2 Gallery in Oakland, CA; Diary of an Introvert at Delphian Gallery, London; and Outro at Piermarq, Sydney.

ANNA ZORINA GALLERY is a contemporary art gallery devoted to promoting the powerful positive image. Established in 2013, the Gallery relocated to a larger location on West 24th Street in 2019 to expand the potential for artists to present their vision.

The Gallery represents contemporary emerging and established artists. The program has a primary focus on the painting medium and fosters artists who allow for intuition and intelligence to coexist. These artists do not set themselves apart from the world but rather engage with strong constructive responses to aesthetic, cultural and personal questions. 

The Gallery champions artists from the beginning of their career and has been pleased to present the debut solo exhibitions of New York-based artists Graham Wilson, Shaun Ellison, Patrick Shoemaker, Alonsa Guevara, Patty Horing as well as the New York debut exhibitions of Nadine Faraj, Kent Iwemyr, Jordy Kerwick, Dale Lewis, George Rouy, Hans Scheib, Alexandria Smith and Jay Stuckey.

Other notable exhibitions have included the exploratory solo shows of Alexander Kaletski; an immersive installation by Azikiwe Mohammed; the Awkward group show featuring renowned painters including Katherine Bradford, Paul Housley, Tim Stoner and William Hawkins; a Bernard Perlin retrospective; two solo exhibitions of John Bradford, a recipient of the Arts and Letters Award in 2011; as well as a dual show featuring artist Didier William, recipient of the 2018 Rosenthal Family Foundation Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
